About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Vilmart & Cie grows this wine in the Champagne countryside. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This sparkling wine is very good to serve with fish dishes or crustaceans.
Tasting note
A rosé d'assemblage made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Typical aromas of red fruits, cherries, strawberries and raspberries, plus fresh citrus notes and delicate floral notes of peony, spiced with a touch of honey and nuts. On the palate, the pure and complex nature of Pinot Noir is particularly well expressed. Powerful, complex with finesse, elegance and refreshing, fine acid nerve.
Culinary recommendation
An elegant and complex accompaniment to various fish dishes, such as “saumon en papillote”, red mullet fillets with orange-white wine sauce or fried crawfish. Also perfect with sushi, or even with white meat and poultry.
