About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Montepeloso conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. We have a special, outstanding Sangiovese from 2019 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Sangiovese is ideal to be served with pasta or lamb.

Tasting note
Fresh raspberries and blackberries with a touch of smoke and herbs on the nose. Full-bodied, firm and concentrated on the palate with lovely creaminess and very fine tannins. Full-bodied, unmistakably Tuscan but understandable all over the world.

Vinification
The Grand Vin made from local grape varieties is Montepeloso's answer to globalization: full of character and the unmistakable Maremma terroir. The harvest is done by hand, and the first grape selection is already carried out in the vineyard. The Eneo is aged for around 18 months in used French oak barrels, followed by a further 18 months of bottle storage.
