About the wine
Susumaniello is a red wine variety common in the Italian region of Puglia, which probably originates from Dalmatia and produces intensely colored, acidic red wines. It is mainly grown in the province of Brindisi; there are around 80 hectares of this exceptionally good grape variety all over the world.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple inclusions. Conveys the freshness and typical tannins of Susumaniello and Negroamaro accompanied by excellent palatability. Rich and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with pasta such as Apulian orecchiette, pizza, grilled meats, roasts, rabbits, game and lamb. It also goes well with a ripe pecorino.
