The grapes were handpicked and peeled, after which the berries were sorted into open wooden tanks (foudres). Die-cuts were carried out daily and the grapes were pressed into a basket after fermentation. The wine was aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels (20% of which in new barrels). Each component of the mixture is kept separate until the final mixture is completed before bottling.
