About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this striking Grenache 2017 — Falcoeira wooden box! Sunny landscapes in Galicia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Telmo Rodriguez conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you serve this grenache with spicy food or burgers with blue cheese.
Tasting note
The refreshing scent spectrum of the Falcoeira, wooden box of red plum, clove and prune plays virtuously with your sense of smell. Afterwards, refreshing nuances of red cherry and cinnamon will decisively and consciously convince your taste buds. A strong body and distinctive acidity result in the red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class. This top wine was awarded: Tim Atkin: 97/100, Robert Parker: 94/100.

Goes well with aged cheese, charcuterie and duck.

Information about vinification: This fermented in 3,000 kilo oak barrels with local yeasts and matured in 2,000 liter oak barrels.
