About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this dominant red wine 2015 — Fläscher Pinot Noir Grond Graubünden AOC. To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous beauty of the Bündner Herrschaft, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss Weingut Davaz masters with a fine sense of texture. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Pinot Noir with cheese or red meat.
Tasting note
On the nose, the springing burgundy fruit is clear and fresh. Intense, spicy on the palate with well-integrated roasted aromas from barrique. A wonderful wine with an elegant, persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal and pork dishes, poultry and Graubünden specialities.
Vinification
“Grond” is the Roman word for “big.” The Grond is not a single-vineyard wine, but a selection of grapes of the highest quality, the vines that are not yet 15 years old (the Uris consists of the older ones). The aging therefore also takes place in used barriques with only 25% virgin wood content for 8 months.
