Tasting note
The glass shows an intense and shiny cherry red with purple reflections. Good aromatic intensity on the nose, dominated by ripe red and black fruits. Smoky notes of licorice and cocoa. Slight mineral background. Enveloping and smooth entry into the palate. Tasty and fruity development with memories of black fruits. Delicate and ripe tannins. Very persistent and fresh finish. Vinification
This Gil family winery is located in the Campo de Borja region and aims to create Garnachas of the highest quality. The working methods of Bodegas El Nido (Clio/El Nido) in Jumilla serve as a model - that means large thinning of the grapes, meticulous sorting after harvesting and only the best wooden barrels from France. The Flor de Goda is produced from the estate's younger grapes. Harvested by hand After maceration for 3 to 4 days, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at temperature-controlled 22-26 ºC. This is followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels. Free from animal products - vegan certified.
