About the wine
The 6-hectare Quinta do Cume has a state-of-the-art wine press — the realm of oenologist Jean-Hugues Gros. He had studied at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne before working in wine-growing regions in Morocco, California, Bordeaux and Champagne, and finally chose the Douro Valley, where he worked with great success. “Flor” means flower and “cume” is the top of the mountain in Portuguese: This “flower of the mountain top”
Tasting note
Clear, citrus yellow. Intense aromas of melon, grapefruit and herbs, with floral notes. On the palate, spicy herbal taste, fresh acidity, dense and full-bodied.
Culinary recommendation
Fish, seafood and Mediterranean salads. Has enough structure and volume to accompany white meat or pasta dishes with light sauces.

Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, no aging in wood
