About the wine
We have a special, distinctive red wine from 2018 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Foradori has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing landscape of Trentino. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This teroldego is excellent with Parma ham or porcini mushroom risotto.
Tasting note
Shiny ruby red. Very clear and elegant, fully ripe, dark fruit notes. Warm spices, some tobacco. Dense on the palate, rich tannins, lots of melting and finesse. A powerful, fleshy body, the aromas of the nose are repeated. Long finish characterized by tannins. A textured wine with a feminine character.
Culinary recommendation
Versatile accompaniment to meat dishes of all kinds, risotto and pasta.
Vinification
The grapes come from biodynamic viticulture. After careful harvesting by hand, the grapes are destemmed and subjected to mash fermentation. The vinification takes place in cement tanks. The wine then matures in barrels for 12 months.
