About the wine
The gravelly, gravelly soils in the north of the city of Bordeaux form the breeding ground. The winemaker from the French winery Château Phélan-Ségur knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. You will certainly have a lot of fun with the first-class Frank Phelan AC.
Tasting note
Second wine from Château Phélan Ségur. The wine bears the name of the son of Bernard Phélan, founder of Château Phélan Ségur. Frank Phélan, mayor of Saint-Estèphe for 30 years, was a “character.” And this should be reflected in the wine: strong, well-balanced, characterized by the terroir, reliably good year after year. Frank Phélan 2014 is characterized by its ripe fruit of blueberries and cassis. Velvety on the palate with a slightly spicy finish. Can be opened and drunk in his youth.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 17°-19°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: ideally between the seventh and twelfth year.
Vinification
The expansion of this Frank Phelan AC was carried out in a steel tank.
