Friulano is an autochthonous white wine variety of northern Italy and a classic variety of Friuli and Veneto. Formerly known as Tocai Friulano, but since 2008, to avoid confusion with the Hungarian Tokaji, it has only been called Friulano. Delicately fragrant nose, with aromas of pear, white peach and some lime, plus typical notes of almond and almond blossoms. Juicy, fresh palate, with a beautiful texture, inviting fruit and once again a subtle, fine-tart almond touch in the finale.
