About the wine
With the delicious Friulano Grave del Friuli DOC from 2016, you will positively surprise your friends. The winemaker from the Italian winery Scarbolo - Le Fredis has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing landscape of Friuli.
Tasting note
Brilliant straw yellow. Harmonious fragrance, floral and fruity, with the typical notes of bitter almond, pear, wild flowers and acacia. Soft and velvety on the palate, moderately acidic, dry and of good structure. Very consistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with light starters, cold cuts, meat broths, pasta dishes, fish and white meat.
Vinification
By gently pressing the freshly harvested grapes, the obtained must is cooled and an initial purification of the juice with static decanting is achieved. Fermentation takes place with the help of selected yeasts and at a controlled temperature (18-20 degrees) in stainless steel tanks.
