About the wine
Ciao bello! An Italian as seen in a holiday brochure. This wonderfully fresh Pinot Grigio is genuine and full of character — with a finish to dream. We love him!
Tasting note
A beautiful, fresh nose with subtle stone fruits, spices, river stones and subtle musk. The palate is crisp and pure. However, it quickly brings up an expansive palate with intense aromas of apple and pear, combined with a beautiful complexity and a wonderful mineral-acid backbone.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, pastries, fish, vegetable dishes or white meat
Vinification
Extracted from a single vineyard high above the Tagliamento river and harvested early in the morning to preserve the natural acidity. Pressed completely bundled, with the aim of limiting skin contact and using only freewheel and first squeezed juice. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, before maturing on lees for six months to improve texture and complexity.
