The Heinrich Winery in Burgenland is one of the leading addresses for great Austrian red wine. Heike and Gernot Heinrich's superior line is based on independence, naturalness nurtured by biodynamic ideas, and modern wine aesthetics. Gabarinza, one of Austria's celebrated elite wines, ages for a good 20 months in 500-liter oak barrels. It delights with an aroma of pickled berries, supple tannins and a powerful, elegant body. The special name of this prime location in the immediate vicinity of the Kultrebberg Salzberg goes back to a grubbing-up term, the “gift rift”. The vintage/specific assemblage is composed of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Merlot.
