About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Gagliole has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing Tuscan countryside. We have a special, dominant Cabernet Sauvignon from 2014 for you, which is enthralled by many wine connoisseurs. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or red meat.
Tasting note
Dense and opulent with intense aromas of cherries, blackberries, dried herbs and licorice. Fine fruit on the palate too with subtle tobacco notes and delicious roasted aromas from French barriques, fine and elegant tannins, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes, pasta, terrines.
Vinification
The Gagliole contains Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. After pressing, it is stored in French oak barriques for 16 months, bottled and then stored in the cellar for six months. The Gagliole is a very well-structured, balanced wine with dense, fine tannins.
