About the wine
The enchanting and magnificent landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Telmo Rodriguez conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Give yourself and your guests a treat for the senses with the fine Gago Tinto Cosecha from 2014!
Tasting note
In an impenetrable ruby red glass. On the nose, currants, black cherries and cassis. Compact on the palate, with lots of concentrated fruit. A smooth texture and balanced acidity, perfectly integrated tannins and a full, fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, beef, poultry
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in wooden and stainless steel tanks of up to 6,000 liters. 80% of the wine is then aged for 14 months in 1500 liter foudres and 20% in French barriques.
