About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 — GALIL Misgav am Vineyard! The wine-growing areas of the Israeli winery Galil Mountain Winery extend across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
The “Galil Misgav Am” features spicy characters of berries, cassis cream and black pepper with notes of earth and oak. A full-bodied single vinyl wine with a strong texture and a long, pleasant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Let yourself be mesmerized by combining it with marinated flank steak, fried chicken or blue cheese.
Vinification
The seductive red wine consists of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, which come exclusively from the northernmost vineyard in the region, “Misgav Am”. The best grapes have been harvested over the years from this vineyard, which is located at an altitude of 800 meters, so that it was certified as a sustainable vineyard in 2017.
