Vinification
The harvest is followed by the gentle pressing of the Glera grapes. These come from the Veneto municipalities of Treviso, Vicenza, Padova, Venezia and Belluno. Subsequent fermentation of the must takes place in stainless steel tanks with development of the carbon dioxide under strict temperature control. The finished wine is bottled approximately every four months in Canelli in Piedmont - the headquarters of Gancia - and is quickly sold.
