About the wine
The premium line Cuvée Michel Léon is a brand of the Arthur Metz wine house, with which it sets a monument to the famous Alsatian wine family. Michel was the founder in the 19th century, Léon, his great-grandson, ended the story in 1991 with the sale of the family business to Arthur Metz. This wine house has a tradition since 1904 and was family-owned until 1991. It is known for the characteristic Alsatian wines and quality is his top priority. For this reason, Arthur Metz selects the best terroirs of the Alsatian wine region. The Cuvée Michel-Leon wines are of outstanding quality, aromatic finesse and a complex, unmistakable character.
Tasting note
A fruity, sweet, balanced and sustainable white wine, light yellow and slightly sparkling. Intense, versatile scents of rose, cherry, clove and vanilla rise to the nose. The pleasant sweetness is distributed on the palate, the structure is soft, incredibly harmonious and very full, the finish pleasantly long.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful aperitif wine, also goes well with cold smoked fish, saltwater fish or simply to enjoy.
