About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Hofstätter has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and picturesque landscape of South Tyrol. This fresh Gewürztraminer 2007 — Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC Kolbenhof crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Gewürztraminer with crab dishes or lobster.
Tasting note
Golden yellow with greenish reflections. Aromas of ripe fruit, special peaches and apricots, with notes of exotic scents. On the palate, these fruity impressions continue, mixed with a fine sourness. Its aromatic length is convincing.
Culinary recommendation
From the Kolbenhof headquarters in Söll. Thanks to the ideal orientation and age of the vines, this winery is one of the largest cru sites for the South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer vineyards. Only the classification Unsee lesson g “Vignden a” best guarantees the origin of a single-vineyard wine in South Tyrol.
