About the wine
GIO - named after the head of Cantine Risveglio, Giovanni Nardelli is a unique red wine from Brindisi that is second to none. Made from the well-known and local Primitivo grape variety. Stored in barrique barrels for at least 12 months, which gives the wine the additional name “Riserva”. A wine for every festive occasion.

Tasting note
Nice ruby red. Complex aroma of fruits and spices (plums, cherries, blackberries, wood, vanilla). Dry, warm, soft on the palate, with a great body structure. Balanced and intense finish.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with leg of lamb, venison, wild boar, roast beef or grilled meats.
