About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Son Puig grows this wine in the countryside of the Balearic Islands. With the powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 — Gran Son Puig, nuances and accents are redefined. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon can be served very well with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Dark, rich purple, on the nose heather herbs, black berries, tobacco, smoke and beautiful oak notes. Dense and round on the palate, harmonious with a long, fresh finish. Aged for 22 months in French barriques.

Flaschenpost team recommends this Gran Son Puig to accompany Gruyère burgers, ribeye steak and red meat. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The following period is the ideal phase of enjoyment of this wine: 5-8 years.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: The harvest is done by hand, classic mash fermentation in steel tanks, aged for 22 months in barriques.
