About the wine
The winemaker from the Argentinian winery Bodega Toneles has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and beautiful landscape in Mendoza. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this striking Malbec 2016 — Gran Tonel 137. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Malbec with well-seasoned red meat or stuffed peppers.

Tasting note
The grapes for this wine grow in over 1600 m and have a very high color concentration. As a result, the Malbec is very dark and strong. On the nose, aromas of ripe plums, blueberries and violets stand out. Thanks to 16 months of maturation, chocolate and tobacco notes are also present. An excellently delicate Malbec in all respects.
Culinary recommendation
Goes perfectly with red meat, cheese variations and can also be enjoyed without food accompaniment.
Vinification
70% of the wine matures for 16 months in new French barriques, 30% in concrete eggs outdoors.
