About the wine
You can describe the landscape in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery WineSoul Joseph Puig is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded! You will certainly have a lot of fun with the fine Grana By Joseph Puig Catalunya DO, which was produced in 2013.
Tasting note
This ancient, rare, autochthonous sumoi is very difficult to vinify. Today, there are only three winemakers who dare to try the character grapes. Together, they produce just about 4000 bottles. Rich red. Very sensitive herbs and spicy notes on the nose. The palate confirms the nose. The wine ends with a wonderful terroir note, idiosyncratic, full of character, exciting, unique.
Vinification
Grana was aged in French oak for five months.
