Tasting note
The Grandfather Fine Old Liqueur Tawny has a deep yellow color with green-gold tones that show age. It has a rich, nutty and complex bouquet, consisting of ripe grape aromas, oak and a touch of brandy. A true Port is a wine with a high consistency, full flavor, perfectly balanced with a slightly dry finish. The great length of the complex aromas emphasize the integration of fruit and oak.

Vinification
The Grandfather Fine Old Liqueur Tawny is stored for several decades according to a very old traditional system. The barriques — all made of French and American wood — are piled up in a pyramid shape. This arrangement protects the quality and style of Grandfather Tawny's by keeping the wine in the lowest barriques as old as possible. A great port, the best of Australia. Alc. /vol. 18.5%/740 ml bottle.
