About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Vriesenhof conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Do you already know the distinctive red wine Grenache WO with the 2015 vintage? If not, it's time! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This grenache is excellent with spicy dishes or burgers with blue cheese.

Tasting note
Deep dark and almost opaque, nose of black cherries, plums, leather, clearly also chocolate and exotic perfume of wild herbs and complex, graphite-like notes. In the mouth, it is of unique sensuality, wildness with intense fruit of wild-grown berry fruits and dried stone fruit as well as fine spiciness and exoticism. A sumptuous powerhouse yet elegant and rich in finesse with floral notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, game and beef.
Vinification
Some of the must is pressed in barriques (French oak) and then blended with the young wine vinified in stainless steel tanks
