About the wine
Treat yourself and your guests to the senses with the delicious Grillo Aquilae Sicilia from 2015! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Canicatti masters this white wine in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily.
Tasting note
Straw yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, clear and harmonious notes of hay, mimosa and chamomile interacting with the scent of ripe apples, almonds, gooseberries, exotic fruits and Mediterranean undergrowth. On the palate, it impresses with a great personality typical of the grape variety: fullness and a fruity texture in combination with appropriate acidity.
Culinary recommendation
As an aperitif wine and with all fish dishes, in particular Sicilian specialities such as spaghetti with sea urchins, fried baccalà, sardines “beccaficu” and plaice “alla mugnaia”. rice with seafood.
