About the wine
We have a special, strong white wine from 2020 for you, which many wine connoisseurs love. You can describe nature in Lower Austria with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Austrian Weingut F. X. Pichler is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Tasting note
The fruity aromas of the Grüner Veltliner Dürnsteiner of lime, toast and honey express lots of character with a very unique structure. The nuances of citrus fruits, toast and honey then show their own character. Heavy body and dominant acidity result in the dry white wine, which shows a lot of character and class in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for white wine is a slightly chilled temperature of 10°-12°C. Flaschenpöstler tip: Grüner Veltliner Dürnsteiner goes perfectly with apéro, risotto and freshwater fish.
