About the wine
With the outstanding white wine 2020 — Grünhäuser Riesling Mosel, nuances and accents are redefined. The wine-growing regions of the German winery Maximin Grünhaus stretch across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this white wine. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this Riesling with mushrooms or Asian food.
Tasting note
The first documentary mentions of the Maximin Grünhaus winery date from February 966. Since 1882, the von Schubert family has been tending the vineyards wonderfully situated on a range of hills near the rivers of the Moselle and Ruwer. The wines belong to Germany's wine Olympus. They unmistakably represent their origin and originate exclusively from the Maximin Grünhaus monopoly sites Abstberg, Herrenberg and Bruderberg. The VDP.Ortswein Grünhäuser grows on Herrenberg and Abtsberg on plots whose vines are at least 35 years old. It is dry-aged in fuder barrels. Wonderful is the fine game, the typical Ruwer herbality and the distinct minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Grünhäuser Riesling Mosel goes perfectly with mushrooms, duck and Indian cuisine.
