About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ferro13 conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding red wine 2017 — Hacker Sangiovese Toscana IGT! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Sangiovese can be served very well with beef or lamb.
Tasting note
Cosmopolitan and sporty, I love my structure and freshness, as well as my bouquet, which is reminiscent of sweet violets and small red fruits.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with steak with grilled vegetables
Vinification
True to tradition, but with an eye on innovation, my vinification and maturation take place separately for each terroir. As soon as the maturation period is complete, the blend is mixed and left to rest in a vat for a month before bottling.
