About the wine
Winemaker Tony Bish is New Zealand's only 100% Chardonnay specialist. He produces his premium wines exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from Hawke's Bay. Classic Hawke's Bay Chardonnay aged in barriques.

Tasting note
A bouquet of peach, lemon peel, spices and biscuit. On the palate, aromas of peach, nectarine, vanilla and ripe citrus fruits. The creamy, long-lasting finish is contrasted by fresh acidity.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with chicken, pork, creamy dishes and crayfish.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand and gently pressed. Only the pre-pressed juice was filled into new (25%) and old French oak barriques. The wine aged for 11 months before being bottled after minimal handling.
