Tasting note
Straw-yellow color, the traditional Heida grape variety can be grown throughout Valais. But only Heida Visperterminen comes from the highest vineyards in Europe. Where special, microclimatic conditions meet to produce this wine. The bouquet is particularly complex and delicate, with aromas of nuts, honey and exotic fruits. Full-bodied and intense on the palate, lively and very long-lasting. It fits perfectly into the aromatic winter season.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for white wine is slightly chilled 8°-10°C. For light dishes, aperitif and salmon dishes, Flaschenpöstler recommend this Heida AOC Visperterminen.

“Heida”, an ancient, wonderfully delicious wine, harmonious, full-bodied with balanced acidity, is how Heida from Visperterminen presents itself. This rarity is also rightly referred to as the pearl of alpine wines. This white wine made from the small-berry, low-yielding grape variety is up to around 100 Oechsle grades in good years.
