About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this strong white wine 2019 — Hermitage AC Chevalier de Sterimberg. The winemaker from the French winery Paul Jaboulet Aîné grows this wine in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Hermitage is ideal for an aperitif or rice dish.

Tasting note
Fruity bouquet of peach and pear and with a distinctive almond note. Soft start, melty and powerful wine, compact and intense, almost oily with a supportive acidity and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pork, poultry and veal.
Vinification
Hand picked in small boxes, whole grape pressing, fermentation in concrete eggs and 15% new French oak barrels and aging on fine yeasts in fermentation tanks.
