About the wine
With the fine Hill 1 Burgenland Cuvee from 2013, you will positively surprise your guests. Picturesque landscapes of Burgenland give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian Weingut Leo Hillinger conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.
Bio
Tasting note
Intense ruby red with a deep black core. A variety of aromas such as herbal spices, blackberry jam and tobacco nuances. The palate is complex, powerful and fruity. The tannin is ripe and perfectly integrated. Very long finale and extremely good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 15°-17°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Now until 2020. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with poultry, slightly spicy red meat and duck.
