About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, it started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team work on over 92 hectares, bottles around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favorite of the Young Scene. The Hullabaloo is dedicated to Schneider's daughter Josephine and the entire proceeds of this wine go to the Sterntaler children's hospice.
Tasting note
Medium lemon yellow, intense aromas of exotic fruits (mango, pineapple) as well as prickly berries and elderberry. Balanced on the palate, with fresh acidity and a slightly creamy texture. A wonderful white wine with a pleasant finish with notes of kiwi, ripe apples and pears.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this white wine at slightly chilled 6°-10°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2020. With goat cheese, asparagus and poultry, we recommend Flaschenpost team.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, some of the selected grapes are gently pressed and some are subjected to a cool maceration period. One part is then fermented in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank and the other part in wooden barrels without external intervention and aged for ten months.
