About the wine
The grapes of our Pinot Gris come from old and young vineyards around Alsheim. Deep loess and limestone marl characterize the soils here. This gives the wines an elegant structure and great juiciness.

Tasting note
A Riesling smelling of peach and fresh lime. It presents a great freshness on the palate. Moderate in alcohol. A precise sweetness and acidity gives it a wonderful balance of fruit and juiciness.

Wonderful with fish, poultry & white meat and best during leisure time!
Vinification
The perfect harvest time is determined by the taste and ripeness of the grapes. For optimal extraction of the aromas from the berry peel, the grapes are gently ground and left to stand in their own juice for a few hours. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for several weeks. Our Pinot Gris are then stored on the entire yeast until bottling in spring.
