About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Las Moradas de San Martin greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. Tasting note
Medium cherry red. The nose is typical of the grape variety with notes of wood and licorice. Mineral and very fruity. On the palate, lush, tasty and with a very long-lasting finish, determined by the mineral and balsamic Garnacha aroma characteristic of our area. A very complex, round and balanced wine. With this wine, the essence of the Garnacha vine of this dry terroir with its vineyards over sixty years old is captured in the most natural and respectful way possible. Bottling without filtration and fining.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes, semi-hard cheeses and grilled fish, paella.
Vinification
The grapes were selected in plots and cold crushed in tanks for a week before fermentation. This was followed by natural fermentation with the yeast present in the grapes over a period of three weeks, without any additives or corrective measures being used. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for a total of 14 months in French oak barrels. The wine was bottled without filtering or clarification.
