About the wine
To get a feel for the mountainous and hilly landscape aesthetics of the Bündner Herrschaft, there is no way around this white wine, which the Swiss winery Weinbau von Salis masters with a keen sense of texture. We have a special, biting white wine from 2017 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Riesling is ideal to serve with duck or mushrooms.

Tasting note
Our Jeninser Riesling Silvaner has fine exotic notes of yellow fruits, paired with lychee and pineapple. Nice juiciness on the palate with slightly tart notes, grapefruit prevails with a fine acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, light appetizers and Asian dishes
Vinification
The grapes are carefully and extremely selectively harvested by hand in boxes. In the cellar, the grapes are gently stripped and put on the press. There they are carefully pressed. The resulting must is clarified naturally and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 18°C. The young wines then spend a few more months on the fine lees. In spring after harvesting, the wine is carefully filtered and bottled.
