About the wine
You can describe the Valais landscape with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Domaine du Mont d'Or is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this white wine. Tasting note
Rich pale gold with lime green reflections. Fresh, delicate citrus notes, mainly lemon and pink grapefruit. Fresh and lively in the beginning, pleasantly full-bodied, nice length, finale on fruity notes, supported by a touch of bitter almond.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with carde on marrow bone, lobster, asparagus, curry and truffle dishes, scallops, alpine cheese, Vacherin from the Vallée de Joux.
