About the wine
The winemaker from Austrian Weingut Erich Scheiblhofer absolutely knows his craft. Tasting note
In the glass, a deep dark garnet red with purple reflections. Cherry fruit on the nose. On the palate, minerality, fine tannin structure and nice length come to the foreground. Long, pleasant aftertaste with a nice acidity.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with all types of dark meat, but especially with fried lamb and beef with strong sauces.
Vinification
12 months barrique; 60% new and 40% used barrels.
