About the wine
Acquired in 2001, the Commanderie de Peyrassol, a former Templar farm, is today one of the leading wineries in Provence. Their red, white and rosé wines can be found on the most beautiful French and international tables. The 95-hectare vineyard is located at an altitude of 330 m at the foothills of the Massif des Maures. It is located on clay-limestone soil suitable for viticulture in the middle of a 950-hectare vineyard.

This brand-new domain cuvée was created to mark the 20th anniversary of Philippe Austruy's purchase of the Commanderie de Peyrassol. La Bastide is the soul of the vineyard and reflects the colors of the Peyrassol terroir. Its unique bottle and free-shaped label, designed by designer Pierre Yovanovitch, combine authenticity and modernity and go perfectly with this wine, which instantly reveals the taste of the fruit
