About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this distinctive Grenache 2016 — La Serra Negre Tinto Cosecha. To get a feel for the barren landscape aesthetics in Catalonia, there is no way around this red wine, which the Spanish winery Herencia Altes masters with a keen sense of texture. Tasting note
The concentration and mineral complexity reflect the terroir of this individual site. The seamlessly integrated acidity and crunchy tannin give a fresh elegance, which is perfectly embedded in the velvety texture.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, stews, duck.
Vinification
Careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar. The grapes are tamped with their feet and then fermented in 1500 liter open wooden vats. After fermentation, the wine is aged in 300-liter French oak barrels (50% new) for 12 months.
