About the wine
There is something left over from Christmas dinner every year. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this present Tempranillo 2012 — LAN Gran Reserva. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Lan has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Tempranillo with polenta or lasagna.

Tasting note
Dense dark garnet red, with ruby red reflections. Aromas of small red, very ripe berries, skilfully blended with spicy notes that come from barrique aging (vanilla, cinnamon, fennel, licorice), followed by tertiary scents that come from bottle aging, such as leather and cigar box. Full-bodied and smoothly rounded, with a remarkably harmonious balance. A fantastic person!
Culinary recommendation
A wine for special occasions, lamb paella, fried or braised red meat, lamb rack in the oven, Irish stew, goulash stroganoff and gently refined hard cheeses.
