Tasting note
Dense crimson in the glass. Elegant and complex on the nose, with notes of cassis, pomegranate, cherries and a hint of roasted coffee beans. Medium fullness on the palate, fresh and juicy, with extensive palate aromas, lively and dense, with a long-lasting finish.

Vinification
Winemaker Robert Eden is strongly committed to sustainable agriculture. He is considered a pioneer in southern France for organic and biodynamic wines. Chateau Maris has a vineyard area of 45 ha, which is cultivated according to biodynamic guidelines. The Grenache grapes for this wine grow on sedimentary rock soils and come from older vineyards. Maceration in tanks followed by a 3-month vinification phase. Ageing for 12 months in concrete eggs. This wine is vegan and biodynamically produced.
