About the wine
Manual harvest, desealing, pressing, 20-day temperature-controlled mash fermentation. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, where it naturally undergoes malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months in French barrique barrels. This is followed by 12-month bottle aging.
Tasting note
Le Marze has a very intense red color, a tone that goes almost to black, with a sweet scent that is reminiscent of ripe fruit and a hint of cocoa and licorice that opens slowly. On the palate, it has a good tannin concentration, which does not give the wine any hardness, but only makes it fuller, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat with strong sauces.
