About the wine
Hand picking, destemming, pressing, 20-day temperature-controlled mash fermentation. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, in which it carries out malolactic fermentation in a natural way. The ageing takes place in French barrique barrels for 18 months. This is followed by a 12-month bottle maturation.
Tasting note
Le Marze has a very intense red color, a tone that almost goes black, with a sweet scent that is reminiscent of ripe fruit and a hint of cocoa and licorice that opens slowly. On the palate, it has a good concentration of tannins, which do not give the wine any hardness, but only make it fuller, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat with strong sauces.
