Tasting note
Dense crimson in the glass. Wonderful bouquet with aromas of black-fruity berries such as cassis, blackberries and blueberries, underlined with hints of white flowers and dark chocolate. Dense, full-bodied and powerful on the palate, elegant and edgeless. Despite the power, it does not appear overloaded or cumbersome, but shows a certain weightlessness.

Winemaker Robert Eden is strongly committed to sustainable agriculture. He is considered a pioneer in southern France for organic and biodynamic wines. Chateau Maris has a vineyard area of 45 ha, which is cultivated according to biodynamic guidelines. Fermentation and maceration in wooden barrels. 16 months aging in new French oak barrels. A pure Syrah from the oldest vines of the winery — a single vineyard of 1 ha, with limited production of only 1800 bottles per year. This wine is vegan and biodynamically produced.
