About the wine
The winemaker from the Flavien Nowack winery grows this wine in the countryside. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this strong sparkling wine — Les Bauchets Extra Brut. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this sparkling wine with risotto or lamb risotto.
Tasting note
Pure Pinot Noir aged in wooden barrels. Delicately spicy bouquet with aromas of red berries, fresh figs, some orange zest and Elstar apples, subtly framed with the finest rose petal scents. Plus delicate smoky, mineral lime notes. On the palate with good pressure, nice freshness and stimulating, subtly tart nut tones in the finale. Only 2117 bottles produced!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with appetizers with small bites, starters such as melon with fine raw ham, or fine veal tartare, vol-au-vent and other poultry dishes, but also with grilled fish or crustaceans.
