About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina di Orgosolo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If Valentine's Day were a wine, it would certainly be the provocative Grenache 2019 — Locoe IGT Isola dei Nuraghi. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This grenache is excellent with burgers with blue cheese or spicy food.
Tasting note
Bright, sparkling ruby red, blossoms, red fruits, blackberries and plums on the nose. Tasty, elegant wine from the Locoe valley aged in stainless steel tanks. Goes well with Mediterranean aperitif, grilled red meat or the island's wonderful cheeses, the Nuraghi are the original inhabitants of the island. They settled the island 5000 years before our era and left behind wonderful buildings and perhaps dreamed of a glass of Locoe in front of their tall towers.
