About the wine
Rafael Palacios is a migrant from Rioja in Valdeorras — but no stranger. He regularly demonstrated his talent in his parents' house Palacios Remondo. In 2004, he started his own winery in the northwestern corner of Spain, in the middle of Galicia, in the remote Valle del Bibei. In view of the potential of the autochthonous Godello grape, Rafael was convinced from the outset that he could use it to produce world-class wines.

Tasting note
This Godello exuberantly displays exotic fruits such as carambola and passion fruit, herbs and white pepper, honey and almonds. It bewitches the nose with its pronounced floweriness and the palate with its wonderfully juicy acidity and mineral components. Its full-bodied taste lasts a long time on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with oysters, giant prawns, grilled crawfish, mussels au gratin, vegetable flan and quiche.
Vinification
Louro do Bolo comes from vines of an average age of 25 years from various plots around the municipality of O Bolo. After harvesting by hand, the grapes are kept in large wooden barrels for about 4 months.
